Warm Springs Salsa
Warm Springs is the beautiful side stream that enters the Salmon River in the “Narrows” section of our River Trips. If you have been on one of our Lunch trips you know how good our Salsa is. Made fresh every day, it has certainly become a guest and guide favorite. Many of our guests have asked for it, so here you go.
Warm Springs Salsa
Chop vegetables & stir. Makes 1 gallon.
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 red onion
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 1 #10 can (6 lb. 6 oz.) diced tomatoes - drained
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon mild chili powder
- 2 jalapeno peppers or 1/4 cup canned jalapenos
- (to taste)
